Western Australia will host the 41st staging of the annual event.
What: The AFL Masters National Carnival, the largest mass participation football event in Australia.
When: Sunday, 29 September 2024 – Saturday, 5 October 2024
Where: Fremantle, Western Australia. Matches at South Fremantle, East Fremantle & North Fremantle Football Clubs and Tom Perrott Reserve.

Player Registrations
This year, players have the opportunity to register upfront and pay in four with no interest or late fees using PayPal at the Fees screen of the registration process.
Registrations close on Wednesday 31 July 2024.

Merchandise
The on-field playing kit is the same design as last year. If your last National Carnival was before Sunshine Coast in 2023, you’ll need to please order a new kit via the link below.
Please note, event tickets must be ordered separately to merchandise via the link below.

In order to receive your merchandise in time for the Carnival, playing gear must be ordered by 20 June 2024.

What is the National Carnival?
Once a year, the National Carnival welcomes players from all States and Territories meet in a unique location around Australia where 60+ teams go head to head for the win. There will be over 60 teams from across the nation where men and women compete in age groups ranging from Over 35’s to Over 70’s.

How many games are played?
Each team will play three games during the week at the National Carnival.
Game 1 will commence late morning on Sunday 29th September and into Monday 30th September.
Game 2 will be played Wednesday 2nd October.
Game 3 and finals will be held on Friday 4th October and into Saturday 5th October 2024.

What is Queenslander Night?
Each year, Queensland hosts a fantastic event where all Queensland players attend with partners/family to celebrate our great state. This event hypes everyone up for the week ahead and is also a perfect teammate bonding opportunity for those who haven’t met or trained together, yet. Queenslander Night is on Sunday 29 September 2024 between 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM at Fremantle Sailing Club, located at 151 Marine Terrace, Fremantle WA 6160. Your player registration includes a ticket to this event, for access for partners or children, please purchase additional tickets.

What is the Gala Night?
The Gala Night is hosted by AFL Masters National each year where players celebrate the final games on the last day of the National Canrival. This year, it is being held at Optus Stadium and it is a sit-down event and no persons under 18 years are permitted to attend. The WA Organising Commitee are trying to secure child-minding but this has not been confirmed at this stage. Your player registration includes a ticket to this event, for access for parters, please purchase additional tickets.

What dates should I arrive and leave?
We reccomend arriving on or before Saturday 28 September 2024 to ensure you arrive on time for your first game. Another thing to keep in mind is that we’ll be looking to have a final state training in the afternoon of Saturday 28 September 2024.
We reccomend leaving on or after Sunday 6 October 2024 to ensure you’re still here for the final day of games and Gala Night.

Do I need to buy a uniform?
At a minimum, you need to purchase a kit which includes guernsey, shorts and socks which can be purchased from our online merchanise store. We changed uniforms in 2023 so if you’ve attended a National Carnival prior to 2023, please make sure you purchase a new playing kit.
